I’m not sure how many times I have said this but i’ll keep saying it: nazar isn’t a quirky emoji you can just add to your ‘manifesting’ posts. It has nothing to do with 'vibes’ either. It is a symbol of protection against evil and ill will. It has significant cultural value and its appropriation by 'enlightened’ white people on social media is quite upsetting. Spirituality especially within ethnic minorities is dismissed as ridiculous but there is a very clear trend of white people appropriating this spirituality and profiting from it. So I will say it one last time - nazar is a cultural symbol against evil, not something to invoke good vibes.
